Noche Latina–Historias
For my fourth year in undergrad, I served as the Graphic Designer for the Hispanic Student Association on campus. As the Graphic Designer, I was tasked to brand the annual HSA event Noche Latina. Noche Latina is a cultural event hosted by the students which showcases Latinx culture through performances and skits. This year, the theme for the event was Historia which translates to stories.
I worked very closely with the Noche Latina Co-Chairs to create a flyer/promotional materials which would reflect the show they were planning. They told me they wanted to include imagery of books and dancing. I created a poster illustration which shows two dancers coming to life from a book to represent our (Latinx) stories coming to life.
